It’s been busy: orientation meeting , rabies booster in the arm, meeting people I will be spending some time with.

I am currently waiting to see if I have a reaction to the second dose of the rabies vax. I had to choose between a vaccine with bovine ingredients or one with more of a med that I’m potentially allergic to in its composition. I find myself thinking heavily about this trip. I had a chance to meet some of my cohort and go over some of the itinerary and packing list last night. I am getting excited and nervous at the same time.

On the list of things:

New hiking boots, a second dose of Ticovax, a Covid booster, business casual travel clothing for UB, and maybe a new pack? Reservations in Istanbul are also on this list.
